I grew up on the quaint suburbs of Kansas City where sunsets are big and beautiful, with land as far as one can see. I spent my previous life studying and teaching physics and still enjoy learning new math and physics. A desire to gain a deeper understanding of the earth and our resources led me to water resource engineering.
In my current research, I am creating a weather station for deployment on vertical fiber optic systems. This small and portable weather station will also be adapted for use in agricultural and elsewhere. In the long-term, I hope to learn more about sustainable water management practices to later implement what I will have learned.
