Michael received his BSc in Geology from California State University, Chico and MSc in Environmental Hydrogeology from California State University, Los Angeles. He has conducted research examining geologic and anthropogenic inputs in water quality within urban watersheds and looks to model stormwater systems. His research interests includes urban hydrology, hydrogeology, and groundwater-surface water interactions.
