How did OSU prepare you for your job?:

The Water Resources Program gave me the tools, skills, and knowledge to contribute to the good development of water resources in countries struggling to produce enough food for their citizens.

Favorite Memory from OSU:

My favorite memories from OSU are from helping other students lay fiber optic cable for their research on stream temperatures in the Middle Fork of the John Day River in eastern Oregon.

Advice to incoming/current students:

Explore classes in many departments and fields.  If doing WRE, take as many civil engineering classes as you can. AutoCAD and GIS in particular are very important to many employers in restoration work.
