I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. I studied Geography at UNC Chapel Hill, and worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Bernhardt Lab (Forest and Stream Biogeochemistry) and Landscape Ecology Lab at Duke University. After graduating in 2011, I worked in San Diego, CA as an Aquaculture Specialist for California Sea Grant. In 2012, I moved to Eugene, OR to begin law school at the University of Oregon. I'm pursuing a concurrent JD/MS in Environmental Law and WRPM. I'm interested in the intersection of science, law and policy - particularly in the context of human-environmental systems.
