Biography

I received my Bachelor of Science from Warren Wilson College in 2013 with a double major in Chemistry and Environmental Studies, as well as minors in Mathematics and Spanish. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I spent two years as a high school chemistry teacher with the Peace Corps in Liberia, West Africa. I began my Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering at Oregon State University in the fall of 2016 under Dr. John Selker in BEE and Dr. Thomas Dietterich in EECS. My research focuses on the optimal placement of weather stations in Africa as a part of the TAHMO project. In the future, I hope to work on water quality and management in developing countries.
